About Us

I was raised by my mother and a village of strong willed, smart, hilarious, opinionated women. Those women were raised by my grandmother, Jean Gray. An Air Force wife with six children, she knew a thing or two about a busy home life. But no matter how busy she was, one thing my grandmother never sacrificed was her social life. A standing weekly lunch date with her girlfriends, Friday night bowling leagues, salon appointments. My grandmother taught me to always work hard but to also make your joy a priority. I started this candle company to honor her and that message. Each Jean Gray candle is hand poured in Brooklyn using the best wax, luxurious scents and a crackling wooden wick. When you light a Jean Gray candle, I want you to feel what I always felt when I was around my grandmother: comfort and joy.
